What is the difference between truSculpt iD over truSculpt 3D for fat reduction?
truSculpt iD and truSculpt 3D are both similar body contouring technologies. While truSculpt iD can target up to 6 areas in a 15 minute treatment, truSculpt 3D treatments target 4 areas in a one hour session.
truSculpt 3D uses innovative Radio Frequency (RF) technology. truSculpt iD takes things further using Monopolar RF technology. The result is a more efficient body contouring experience with less discomfort during treatment.
Unlike Coolsculpting and truSculpt 3D, the truSculpt iD procedure is versatile and effective to treat a wide range of patients who may not be a candidate for other contouring procedures due to treatment location, skin type, fat thickness and presence of skin laxity
How does truSculpt iD work?
truSculpt iD uses innovative Monopolar RF technology to selectively target fat and therapeutically heat it – until fat cells are eliminated by passing through the body naturally.
RF energy passes through the skin to target the underlying fat tissue – as the fat is heated, the cells are destroyed and pass through the body naturally.
Patients can expect to decrease circumference and diminish fat in areas that have been resistant to diet and exercise.

What does the treatment feel like?
The treatment has minimal discomfort and is similare to a hot stone massage. There is no visible downtime after the procedure and normal activity can be resumed immediately.
How long before I see a difference?
Only one treatment is typically required and results are visible within 12 weeks. Maximum results are visible after 12 weeks. Additional treatments may be required to achieve the personalized results you desire.
